Realising the truth that an efficient presentation and support mechanism must to be formed in order to develop international trade, Adana Chamber of Commerce is organising the Adana International Forum on Economic Cooperation to increase enterprises’ cooperation and competitive power in international area.

Adana International Forum on Economic Cooperation not only brings liveliness to economy, but also puts the global economic potential of the region forth for consideration by bringing together the enterprises from mainly European Union and many different geographical areas.

Following the intensive demands from enterprises and successfull economic results of the first and second Forums in 2005 and 2006, 3rd Adana International Forum on Economic Cooperation will be organised in the year 2009. Within this concept, Your support and contribution will play a great role in carrying up the event to the desired higher levels.

Adana Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for performing another international organisation with the 3rd International Forum on Economic Cooperation which is going to consider Turkey’s economic potential on regional bases. In the scope of 3rd Adana International Forum on Economic Cooperation that will offer important opportunities for making cooperations with foreign enterprises, local enterprises in the region from furniture, construction, food and agriculture, textile and energy sectors will have the opportunities to make bilateral talks and new business contracts. By this way an increase in employment and added value to the economy will be created. During the Forum, conferences on Turkey’s EU adaptation and sectoral meetings where investment and business opportunities of our region will be introduced to foreign investors will be held and latest developments in Turkish and world economy will be discussed.

Our Chamber has started an important attempt with the 1st International Forum on Economic Cooperation, which was regarded as “the first international event in Adana” in the year 200,5 for sharing the economic potential of Çukurova Region with national and international enterprises. The Forum has laid ground for arriving of foreign investors to our city which was so called as the locomotive of Turkish economy and the first industrialised city of Turkey in order to rear it up with participation of 204 companies from Adana and other Turkish cities and 152 companies from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Bulgaria, Greece, Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, Egypt, France, England, Italy and Germany.

Adana International Forum on Economic Cooperation which has taken place firstly in 2005, became a systematic event and was successfully implemented again in the year 2006. The event took place with 220 enterprises from Greece, Bulgaria, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Israel, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, Syria and Iraq together with 168 local enterprises. Now the Forum was taking place as an important milestone in developing the Forum culture in Turkey. In AIFEC 2006, new sectors like health and IT were introduced in order to entertain the economic potential of the region on international platform.
